Are Venezuelan and Colombian women as nice as Dominicanas?

Sorry I made a mistake on the title it wasn't supposed to be "how to dominican Republic care to Venezuelan women"

I know this question might be an unfair question since this is a forum based on the dominican republic. I am a 30 year old gringo and I speak really good spanish. I am not the best looking of gringos but I wanted to know how Dominican Rep compares to Venezuela and Colombia in terms of how gringo-friendly the ladies are?

santiago, especially the pucmm university, has some of the most beautiful girls in the world. I have been to venezuela and i tell you this, these girls didn't impress me more than santiagueras.

I have been to may parts of this world (lately) and I must say that the dominicans girls come in a full, complete package. If you want a cute physically fit morena, we have plenty (note: not talking about sosua, boca chica, pop women), you want a indiacita with thalia's curves, we have them in thousands, you want a white girl who looks like amelia vega's cousin, we have plenty. Most girls do take a good care of their bodies, they either work out or simply are fit naturally. You will see natural curves of a woman unlike our north american fatties. These girls won't leave home, unless they are all made up perfectly ex: washed styled hair, sexy clothes to attract attention, heels and all the other goodies women care about. These girls go to university dressed as if they are going to a disco. there is never a dull look in these women. They are in a tough competition with each other. The PUCMM girls are the hottest in santiago.

Since I have not been to Venezuela or Columbia, I can't answer the comparison question. I can only tell the OP Dominican people in general are very friendly and the women, especially in the tourist areas, are very gringo friendly. Just watch out for the professionals.

If there's a generalization to be made on this matter, it would be that Caribbean women are more 'friendly' than Andean women. However, you will find Caribbean women in both Colombia and Venezuela.

By success do you mean casual sex or long term relationships?

If you are asking about the latter, you will have a better chance if you are living in the DR, rather than going for a vacation. If you are asking about the former, the success rate should be about 100%.

Columbian girls are just as, if not more beautiful. Cartajena and Barranquilla and nice places to go and if you book a flight with plenty of time it costs just as much as flying from JFK to the DR. The only thing I suggest is try meeting up with people who know people over there. This is what I did and it worked out great. It really helps because there are certain places and times of day/night that you do not want to be wandering the streets alone, and there is nothing like hanging out with locals because they know all the spots and I was seen as a friend from the states, not just some tourista looking for broads.

The northern part of the Columbia, as any travel guide will tell you, is the safest. Stay to the north and you will be fine. It is an amazingly beautiful country but just like Brazil, the surrounding mountainsides on the outskirts of the cities are where the slums are predominantly located. So don't go there.

There are no national stereotypes for beauty. There is'nt one country that has more beautiful women than another, it's all about what you are looking for and why. If you are looking for a latina with blonde hair and blue eyes, you might as well stay home because it does'nt make a difference.

If you are looking for what AZB refers to as an 'indianita" the puerto-rican indias are just as fine as the dominicanas. But I digress from my original point, which is...

As a gringo, you do not offer anything special to any young lady from any latin american country if she comes from a family that is well-to-do and educated. So it is not what you are looking for, it is what they need from YOU. Think about that.

The columbian girls that I met were educated(I was hanging out with recent college grads who all worked) and extremely nice. They were also off the charts in terms of beauty. But the economy is so screwed up that in the back of my mind I always felt that pressure to find my "true love" because for them it was a one-way ticket out of their country.

The same would apply to the DR. Wherever you go, tread lightly. Hope this helps.

I've visited DR 6 or 7 times, Colombia 3 times, and Venezuela twice. So many of the women in all of these countries are beautiful, nice, fun, loving, interesting . . .etc. So comparison is a bit of an exercise in really, really broad generalization. Having said that:

Venezuelan women are legendarily beautiful - - witness the Miss World etc. competitions. Like Brasilian women, they can be fantatical about looking good - - including tons of time at the gym. But they can also be very enthusiastic about plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is so much cheaper in Venezuela (and Colombia and Brasil).

Colombian women are incredibly sweet. And, there are so many gorgeous women in Colombia. I think they tend to be friendly to gringos - - probably because travel to Colombia has been so vexed for so long so that gringos are a bit rarer. Also, because the myth of the U.S. as a land of opportunity is still very strong in Colombia.

DR women are the BOMB. Lots of beautiful women. Pretty sweet. But for me the winning trait of Dominican women is their sense of humor - - which can be very, very sharp and very, very hilarious. I don't think Colombians or Venezuelans can compete with Dominicans (women and men) in terms of active, lively sense of humor.

Now . . .if you want to throw Brasilenas into the mix . . . . lol . . .watch out!

I just read this and had to put my two cents in. I am Colombian girl although I was born in Canada. Darn and I always thought I had a pretty great sense of humour. :ermm: I guess I should go to the DR more often to work on that.

It is true that Colombians in general will treat you differntly based on their station or place in colombian society. The whole gaga for gringos thing I don't really know but it will depend on how much money you have, what kind of people you are looking to hang out with and also how "friendly" your are expecting these girls to be. I guess it will be the same as any other place where the really poor people will just about make a pact with the devil to get the hell out.

I have never been to South America. I would like to go someday.
