It’s freezing cold in Connecticut, but the people there have a new choice for flying south to enjoy time on the beach. Starting this past Friday, 21 February 2025, Avelo Airlines has begun flying nonstop from Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks to Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).
The nonstop route from Connecticut will operate year-round on Mondays and Fridays.
Bradley International is located about halfway between the cities of Hartford, Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts. It is Connecticut’s busiest commercial airport and the second-busiest airport in New England after Boston’s Logan International.
