Banco Popular’s ‘Christmas Miracle’ on 22 and 25 December

The Banco Popular Dominicano its presenting its annual Christmas play “El Milagro de la Navidad” again in the parking area of the Torre Popular, the bank’s headquarter’s on Av. John F. Kennedy. The Popular Christmas story presentation is free. The family-friendly event has been a Dominican tradition for over three decades. This year it opened on Sunday, 15 December and will also be presented on Sunday, 22 December, and on Wednesday, 25 December.

The Christmas story is presented by the Banco Popular to give back to the Dominican community. Over 30 actors and members of the Popular Choir, all bank employees and their children take their time to participate in the live nativity scene. The play, written and directed by playwright Iván García, begins at 6:30pm and concludes with a fireworks display.
