I saw the movie in Santo Domingo at Downtown Mall. There was a weird barby in it. Looking a bit like that. But if there was a deeper message with the barbie movie I didnt understand it. I thought it was boring. Maybe you have to be American to get it.

This Barbie theme fits right into Dominican culture both among women and men. There is less hype over Oppenheimer here in the DR. That however was a movie I really enjoyed.

It’s become quite the event in the USA. If it ends up on Netflix or Prime I’ll watch it (but only if Mr AE isn’t home, no way in hell I’d get him to watch it 😂).
