Looking for high quality roof sealer. Seems (on line search) advice leans toward "Silicone Roofsealer". I have used in the past heavy silver application that cost about $75 a bucket.
Is "silicone sealer" different in any way?

Johne, I'm going to save you a lot of time and effort.
Unless you are going to pressure wash your roof then give it a good muriatic acid washdown, none of those roof sealers are going to work for you.
You need to find a company that does the roof sealing via heated asphalt rolls backed with thick foil.
Anything else is a waste of time and effort.

There is roofing material on the concrete roof now. I got a price this morning to remove all the material. Laydown new roofing. Remove all debris.
$4500. I don't have any severe leaking now and don't want to spend that money at lease for now.

Well, we put it on our roof, can’t remember the brand, but never had filtrations anymore.
Time will tell of course.

In my opinion if you can its better to put a tin roof over and you get shade as well as water protection

Puts a big dent in the high temperature too.

And some of them are rather attractive these days. We have faux Spanish tile style over our terrazzo. This is inside/bottom view, top is rounded.

Had a leak on the flat area of our roof where the tinaco sits. I was out of the country and was quoted several tens of thousands of pesos. A Dominican buddy of mine back there said BS! Buy this. It was Pintura Popular Dry Blockaid Filler. Impermeabilizante Cementicio they called it. Came in a 40 pound bucket. Goes on with a brush, roller or spatula. That was about three years ago. Not a single issue. Still looks good, no cracking or discoloration. Needless to say much cheaper than my quote. Since I didn't apply it I don't know if it will stay on a pitched roof.
