I will be flying into SDQ at 10 PM and want to stay in a cabana in San Isidro before heading off to Samana in the AM. I know there is a stretch of road in San Isidro with a a lot of cabanas and lots of blinking lights. At that time of night I'd prefere not to linger on the street making a decision. Could someone suggest the best cabana to stay in ovenight? One with good executive or VIP rooms would be nice. Feel free to PM me if that is better. Thanks for any help lent.

I like this - it takes some guts - like going into the pharmacy and shouting "what's better Viagra or Cialis?"

That said, I respectfully recommend Miami, Alli and the latest and greatest Aki. The "Ejectutivas" are excellent, but please consider basic biochemical principles before drawing yourself a nice relaxing bath in the jacuzzi. Recommend ording in Pica Pollo with fries and perhaps a side of chow fan.

Don't miss out on the rare opportunity to visit the famous Eagle Sports Bar and Grill just a few doors down on the Autopista San Isidro. But you better bring your Visa card...

Good luck and have fun in the Zona Oriental (aka Long Island)

Cabanas Alli in San Isidro

I ended up staying in the Alli Cabanas. They were about 20 minutes from the airport. Before I went I found this video on Youtube. YouTube - CABA?AS SANTO DOMINGO It is very similar to the Executiva I rented from 11PM-11AM for $1600 RDP. Two Bathroom, two showers, a jaquzzi and two large TVs. It was easy to find from the airport and it was easy to get on the new Samana Highway in the morning. The stereo didn't work to well but other than that I had no complaints. The beer was cold and the food was pretty good. Very convenient. I would do it again.

One hour too early

Had you checked in to Alli at midnight it's only 640 pesos until 11 AM.

That's a pretty good price. Is that for an Executiva? Either way I don't think I would have waited the hour!
