Any money transfer app that has lower fees than Paypal? My husband who has a dominican bank account sends me money via paypal and the transfer fee is high! I wonder if there are any that allow a Dominican to send to the u.s via debit card with a lower fee. He sent me $335 and they took out $15.

You could try Remitly. I never use Paypal but do use Western Union. Your fee above is on par with Western Union and I know Remitly is cheaper than that.
Whatever you do you must factor in with the fee any currency conversion that they may have. If you pay in Dollars and receive in Dollars it is not a factor. But if their is a currency conversion it always cost you...............
The cheapest way to transfer money here is with Western Union either by sending it from a W.U. agent or from your bank account. It cost a friend of mine $8 USD to send $900 from and agent location. It cost me $10.99 to send it here from my US bank account. You must specify to pay out in USD or you will lose big time on the conversion rate. It costs about double to send it using your US debit card.

If it is on a regular base; ask him to open a Bank Account at BHD on his name and just let him send you the debit card that he get's with this account.. You withdraw the $ at any ATM or make purchases and the conversion rate is extremely fair and the fees are also very low. If he already has a BHD Account, just ask him to open another one (takes 5 min for a second account), so he can always transfer $ from his to "your" account within seconds. If i'm wrong, please let me know, but i think this is the fastest and cheapest way to send $ to the US.
