From Santo Domingo I want to organize a whale watching trip to samana

I have a bunch of questions

Who flies to Samana from here? How much are flights? What times do they leave? Do they fly every day?

Also is their a tour operator in Santo Domingo that I can book whale watching with or would I need to just take the flight to Samana and try to organise something when I get there?

P.S. I know whale watching season finishes soon. So I wanted to organise something for this weekend. When does whale watching season actually finish?

It is my understanding that the possible end of the season this year will be the 24th of this month, but only the whales know their departure plans. The excursions will continue for as long as there are enough whales in the Bay of Samana to make it worthwhile for the passengers.

I am going tomorrow morning. I have decided to take the Caribe tours bus to Samana. Airport will be too much hassle.

I will be on the 10:00am one which gets into Samana at 4pm. If you are on the same bus just look for the gringo with the long hair. That will be me.

Ah?
That?s a shame cause my work starts from tomo'. I've been looking forward to do it though, errr.
I will just have to find another chance then. But I hope you will have a wonderful time there and let us hear your story later;)

I had a nice trip. Got to see a mother and her baby calf. It was pretty cool.

nv u.

Well, I am glad that u had a great time there! It would be wonderful if I could make it too. I might miss the season after all which is indeed shame.
Ok, so talk about my 'real' 1st weekend in SDQ, I've been some Arabian Restaurant near some park (I guess it was nearby Av. Churchill) with the ladies from my boarding house. And we had nice food there (I had some kebab stuff with humus) under the moon light then we drove all the way back to the house looking at the Caribbean. It was so beautiful and I honestly thought that night was too romantic to be with ladies. It was just indeed beautiful and it reminds me of one of the nights in Santorini long time ago.
Then we stopped at the ice cream store as I insisted on having some ice cream.
(For me, without desert my meal hasn't finished yet!) We had wonderful chocolate ice cream then we finally got home.
It was just que bueno! I don?t think I will forget about that day.
Alrighty, better stop mumbling on the lazy Monday afternoon! I hope you had a wonderful weekend too!
