Boca Chica Hotels

I have been to the DR more than 50 times and am looking to go back since the lockdowns and COVID BS is over with. Last time I was in Boca Chica was in 2016 before that have been there multiple times. Seems many of the hotels have changed their names. Wife and I (she is from Nagua) are flying in from Dallas and we are coming to see her family. Her sister in pregnant so she wants to see the baby of course. I will be getting 2-3 rooms since we have 6 adults and 2 children ages 5 and 2 months. They are all travelling from Nagua. Want something safe and on the beach or within 5 minutes walking distance. Any help thank you in advance.

I've stayed in a few different hotels while waiting for apartments. I would not recommend any of those for a family because I looked for, and got, cheap.

I've not seen these but they look great from the outside. They also seem popular.

1. Be Live Experience Hamaca Garden, probably the most expensive of the bunch. They have their own beach.

2. Hamilton Hotel and Restaurant. I like their food but never stayed their. About a 5 min walk to the beach on the main dray. Much cheaper than Be Live.

3. Boca Grande Hotel Suites. The restaurant sucks but there is a good local restaurant right across the street. I think it's about the same price as Hamilton.

4. Palmares Bar and Restaurant. It's not showing as a hotel but they have one. Best pasta in Boca Chica. If interested let me know and I will try and contact them for you. No clue on price.

Boca Grande and Hamilton are both < 5 min walk to the beach.

Boca Beach Residence is the nicest Boca Chica hotel right on the beach, but it's pricey. Hotel Garant and Suites is nice, economical, and a couple of blocks away from the beach.

Garant would be my choice if they had enough rooms available.

When you need extra Room, Once you go Air BNB.. you never go back ,, just sayin ..

3 bedrooms , large living room, full kitchen ,2 baths will probably only set you back $65 a night .

we have had 100% good experiences . cant go back to Hotel rooms.
