Boca Chica Resort--New Owners

Has anyone been to the Boca Chica Resort since March when they changed owners and if so, could you give me some input as to the changes. Also, does anyone have the new phone numbers and fax number to the hotel itself. I am having a difficult time getting through since the ownership change.

No the Hamaca did not buy it. But, nobody seems to know who bought it and any information as to how to reach reservations or the hotel direct.

Have been a guest of Boca Chica Resort more than twenty-five times in the past fifteen years (lived in the Dominican Republic
for twelve) and can sincerely recommend it to anyone. This hotel
was bought by a European company early this year and you could
tell that they were very serious about the quality of service when we visited in July.

The meals, entertainment and ambiance are excellent.

I can tell you that the hotel is now under the management of the HOTETUR-group with several hotels in the Dominican Republic and Spain.
I dont know how is the service in this hotel now. I just heard that the workers arent very happy. A lot of employees are fired now - friendly, reliable people with families.
New were hired for making a "trainee" - one month without paying the daily work of 14 hours or more. After this training they were fired without comments.

I wish you nice vacacions in this Resort!
