Can some one help get me from Boca Chica to Cofresi Bay,

Is there a direct bus?

or is it best to go from Santo Domingo to Puerto Plata by bus and use taxis else where?

You can take either Metro or Caribe tours. Different locations in SD. From Boca Chica - Caribe station is down town - to Puerto Plata - easy to get taxi from here to Cofresi.
