ha ha..i am with bigbird on this one.

Boca Chica (even a year ago..before the curfew)...had become pretty quiet at night. There were two hooker bars (only one had business...and not my kinda place...too bad..cuz the bar ruta 66 used to be kinda fun).

the rest of the nightlife consisits of about 3 blocks with tables and chairs and mainly euros (no offence to anyone) chilling with themselves.

My favorite spot was hanging out with some of the locals at the typico on the corner (i blelieve i posted a photo of that in the media gallary).

I have had a hard sell to my friends of boca chica lately as they expect some nightlife on their vacation.

I am pretty much a beach bum...but i do hit the capitol for at least one night for some actual clubs.

Oh...and to the OP...you arent going to get a guest into the hammaca.

I still enjoy B.C. tho. I have some friends in the area...plus i like to meet other travelers.

If you are looking for "action" and are a good looking guy...you might have some luck with outher tourists at the disco in the hammaca.

Let us know what you think when you get back!

the express guagua is easy enough (if you know the fare...speak some spanish..and know where to get off..the bus that is).

Dont really recommend it for a complete newbie (the busses stop running sorta early).

you MIGHT find some other tourists to share a cab ride into the city. its 20 bucks each way.

I guess you could take one of the last guaguas in...get a bite to eat..then hit a club (they close early now)...find a cabana (never been to one...honestly). then take a taxi to the guagua back early in the morning.
