We always stop at Tipico Bonao, there are two, one northbound and one southbound. Good food, best bread I’ve had (they’ll sell you a loaf to go if you ask). Miguelina’s for coffee and pastries, yum.

Not mentioned in the article is our favorite stop on the way home: Turay. Amazing fresh dairy products, all delicious. Queso en hoja comes out onto a table and gets snatched up fast, yogurt in many flavors and sizes, lots of different goodies. We buy a lot of fresh milk and freeze it.

A trip to the in-laws is not complete without a stop at Tipico Bonao. Only been to Turay a couple times.
