Does anyone know of a reasonable place to buy furniture in the area of the Las Americas airport? Specifically La Caleta, but anywhere from Santo Domingo to San Pedro would be fine.
We're looking to buy bunk beds. My husband's family has priced them in Santo Domingo at about 4,500 pesos...I don't know which store, but that seems really expensive to me. They're a whole lot cheaper in Canada.
I'm generally a bargain hunter and buy on sale or used...is that a reasonable price in the Dominican, or are we being quoted the "rich relative living in Canada" price?
