Callback Service

Any one can tel me about Callback services or other ways to communicate in a reasonable prices to Europe and USA?

you did not say where you are going to be calling from. One callback service is Axicomonline.com (Axicom). Another one is net2phone.com Net2phone lets you call the USA for US$.10 per minute. I recommend you contact Sim?n Cuello at Lan+Wan in Santo Domingo (if you are in the D.R.) at 532-2191 and ask him about the internet phonejack, which is a card you put in your computer and it lets you route international calls ofver the internet.

I use calling cards to call the DR from the US. I get rates as low as $.05 per minute!

Where do you get these calling cards from. I call teh DR daily and the best I have found is .24 I would really appreciate a .05 rate

It depends on where you live. I am in Columbus, Ohio, USA and I was getting them at a latino grocery store here, but then I found them cheaper at an african market. go anywhere immigrants tend to go, like asian markets or specialty stores. I have a customer who owns a chain of pager & cell phone stores, and he sells them. Check the rates, though, they vary widely. there also is a trade off between price and quality. e-mail me and I will give you more specific info on brands.

If you can get calling cards for use from the USA to the DR for US$0.05/minute, please post the name and address or at least the phone number of the place that sells these cards. I'm also in Ohio at this time.

My experience with Net2phone has been from fair to poor connections. Telegroup offers at callback service at US$0.34/min. (not cheap) and I have been able to find calling cards in the DR for as little as US$0.28/min. and from the USA to the DR for US$0.24/min.

I'd be interested in any service that does not use the internet for a connection, that costs less.
