Does anybody know where I can get a cheap calling card to call from Dominican Republic to US?

They dont exist.. TLD and the Tricom card all about 6.5 pesos per minute thats about 40 US cents. And they are the cheapest ones. And you can get those in supermarkets and pharmacies. Compare that with the calling cards from the States to the DR where most are less than 10 cents the minute. This is all because of the monopoly of Codetel. Which is in the process of being broken. Much better prices from the DR to the States will be here within the year.

In a posting made on March 5th the LCE_Rep said that it cost $5 for a calling card(Mi Terra) that was approx. 40 minutes. This works out to approx. 12.5 cents per minute.In the March 24th posting the rep. is now saying that it is about $.40 per minute to call the US from the DR. I'm confused!

Its about 40 cents per minute when calling from the DR to the US. Calling from the US to the DR is alot cheaper!
