Calling Haiti

I just got a phone bill from Codetel for some calls to haiti: around 58? a minute!

Does anyone have suggestions on less expensive alternatives/plans other than Skype?

I'm all ears...

VIVA has a plan with rates to call Haiti and the price of the call is the same of the local dominican rate, the name of the plan is Moun, but the number in haiti must be a number of one specific carrier there, Im not sure but I think is Digicel, stop in any VIVA shop and ask about Moun.

Most calls will be made to cell phones, maybe 80% from what I can project.

Then VIVA is a very good deal with Moun, part of the befefics is that when you are in haiti you dont need to pay roaming for calling to Dominican Republic if im not wrong.
