Hi All,
Not sure if I may be repeating an earlier post but it may interest some of you Welsh people (Wales is in the UK for those that only know England ;) ) that filghts now regularly depart Cardiff Airport for Puerto Plata on the North coast.

This is good news for me as it saves a 3 to 4 hr journey to one of the major UK airports. The flights are chartered by Thomson (www.thomsonfly.co.uk) and early flights (May and June) are going from about ?200 GBP.

Late deals are already available at around ?35 each way plus taxes and fees.

Just thought I'd spread the word! :glasses:

That could be handy for a return flight next year - thank you for the info.

Cheap Flights

Hi wishingiwashere / graham,
I booked my flights about 10 days ago and it cost ?1,080 for 4 of us inc taxes, etc.
Out of curiosity I have just checked the flight costs today for departure on 3rd May and got the following price...

basic seat cost ?27.00 each way although taxes and fuel supps add a lot so the total for 4 people comes to ?832 (wish I booked later!)

Ino other words ?208 each all in, not a bad cost for a very convenient flight for us Welsh people and close neighbours.
