hello everyone ! I am an 19 year old student from Holland and I am going to the caribe campo hotel/club this summer. I don't know what to expect from the hotel, because I can't find any information about it. The only thing I know is that it's about 1 kilometer out of the sea. Can I walk to the sea or is it dangerous and do we have to take a taxi?

This is my first trip to the Dominican Republic so it's al very new for me. Hope you will understand and answer my questions..

Thanx in advance,

Maverick.

Hello Maverick-I have stayed at the Caribe Campo several times. You're going to have a great time. It's all-inclusive so you'll have plenty to eat and drink. They have a shuttle bus that goes to the beach and town about every 1/2 hour. You can also walk. It's not far. You can also easily walk to Sosua (nearby town) or take a taxi if you wish. I would recommend a taxi back to the Caribe if you go to Sosua for the late night discos. Every night the Caribe Campo has entertainment for you. Since you are 19 I think you might enjoy the discos more though. You can really look forward to your trip. I know you'll have fun. Do watch your pockets when in Sosua as the ladies can be very friendly but also are very good at picking your pockets at the the same time Jack P. S. They must be working on their web site right now. It use to be through caoba tours.
