Cheap activities to do in Bavaro?

I am from the capital and there are of lots of fun, cheap, activities to do there such as the Zoo, the Aquarium, the Botanical Gardens, Tres Ojos Caves, and the Mirador parks ... are the any similar cheap activities to do in the Bavaro area?

most of the activities are geared toward tourists, and priced accordingly.

my favorite is to sit on the beach, read a book, look at the eye candy and drink a presidente.

some of the year round residents might know some inexpensive activities.

The Captain is right, unfortunately most equivalent attractions/activities in the area are tourist priced. You can do some of your own exploring, like the Cabo Enga?o (easternmost point of the island) area, with really deserted beaches and coastline and several abandoned projects, or the Laguna de B?varo near Cabeza de Toro.

What a lot of people here have done here is to take up sports - running, cycling, triathlon training - or join the Biciclub B?varo mountainbiking club for offroad excursions every weekend. biciclubbavaro@gmail.com
