We are heading over to the region to do a bit of home hunting for a few days, get a feeling for the place. We are not looking for vacation hotel, just a cheap place to sleep, good central area to get out and look at options. Looking to venture over within the week.

yes, the rentals at Cortecito Inn are per Room, not per person, breakfast is included in the rates.

an other good one with very reasonable roomrates is the Cappuccino Mare,
darn, I can't find their number now, somebody can fill that in here, Milosh?, they have a good restaurant attached there.

There is also the newly renovated Natural Village (used to be Hotel Crisali). Rooms are clean, modern, neutrally decorated with flat screens. Nice pool area. Plenty of parking space out front. Good central Bavaro location.
A month ago they were doing a deal for 40$ per night.
