Realmente este tema es muy serio.Nosotras nos operamos con DR ROBERTO GUERRERO DANIEL en abril 2013.
Somos de Puerto Rico, investigamos un poco sobre el y nos parecio que era bueno. Tremendo error cometimos.
Opero a mi amiga y a mi el mismo de de liposuccion... salimos vivas de la cirugia , dormimos esa noche en esa clinica llamada palsticenter. Al otro dia nos mando a una casa de recuperacion y se olvido de nosotras. Mi Amiga comenzo a vomitar al otro dia en la noche y sentirse mal.... lo comenzamos a llamar a su celular y a la clinica ..no respondia ni retornaba las llamadas. Al segundo dia mi amiga vomitaba sangre y fue llevada por la due?a de la casa de recuperacion a un hospital privado donde la dejaron interna en cuidados intensivos. Permanecio en la clinica en estado grave de una hemmorragia durante dos dias y el doctor guerrerreo nunca aparecio . Mi amiga murio en el hospital y ese doctor guerrero nunca llamo ni aparecio. Muy irresponsable....solo le importo tomar nuestro dinero y nos dejo tiradas a la buena de Dios...., nunca se intereso en nosotras...nunca llamo nunca nos mio...es decir nada de nada...no recomiendo para nada operarse con ese doctor.
Creo que si le hubiese seguimiento real mi amiga no hubiese muerto... Solo le importa hacer dinero para terminar la remodelacion que esta haciendo en la clinica.
tengan cuidado en quien seleccionan para operarse..... Investiguen bien,,,,, y que su doctor le de el seguimiento adecuado

Hablas ingles marivision. No todos en dr1 leen espanol. Por mi parte siento mucho experencia, pero me falta el punto de referencia para responderte con algo util. Suerte.

What I find odd is why he never returned the calls or bothered to follow up
with his patients. He just disappeared into thin air. Where is he now?

Doctors are suppose follow up with their patients after any surgery.

Your friend had serious complications after the surgery but yours was
successful.

Actually this topic is very serio.Nosotras we operate with DR ROBERTO GUERRERO DANIEL in April 2013.
We are from Puerto Rico, we researched a bit about it and we seemed it was good. Terrible mistake we made.
I operate my friend and me the same liposuction ... we went live surgery, slept that night in that clinic called palsticenter. The next day he sent us to a recovery home and forgot us. My Friend started to vomit the next day at night and feeling bad .... I started to call his cell and clinic .. did not respond or returned calls. On the second day my friend vomited blood and was taken by the landlady of recovery to a private hospital where the inner left in intensive care. Remained in the clinic in a critical condition for two days hemmorragia and Dr. guerrerreo never appeared. My friend died in the hospital and that doctor warrior never called or showed up. Very irresponsible cares .... just take our money and let us run to the good of God ...., never was interested in us ... we never ever call my ... I mean anything at all ... not recommended at all operated with that doctor.
I think if we had real follow my friend had not died ... Only cares about making money to finish the remodeling you are doing at the clinic.
beware in whom selected for surgery ..... Investigate well,,,,, and your doctor gives you adequate monitoring

He did liposuction procedures on my friend and I.. we both survived the surgery, spent the night in Plasticenter clinic. The next day he sent us to a recuperation center and forgot about us. My friend started to vomit the next day and night and felt bad, we attempted to call the Dr's cell phone and the clinic, nobody responded or returned our calls. The next day my friend vomited blood and was sent by the owner of the recuperation center to a private hospital where she was admitted into intensive care.She stayed in the clinic with critical condition with a hemorrhaging over 2 days and Dr. Guerrero never showed up. My friend died in the hospital and the Dr. never called or showed up. Very irresponsible, he only cared about taking our money and leaving us with only the help of God.... He never cared about us, never called, didn't even say anything, I don't recommend this Doctor at all.

I feel that if he made the proper followups with my friend she would have never died... He only cared about taking our money to finish remodeling his clinic.

Be careful who you have surgery done by, do your research, and make sure your doctor will make the proper followups..

Me hice tummy y liposuccion... mis resultados no satisfactorisos. Casi ni me hizo lipo en la espalda. Sigo igual de cuadrada que antes. Una cicatriz torcida y horrible
No es para tummy y lipo .....siempre apurado con poco tiempo para atenderme...me dejaba esperando sentada en su oficina por largo rato.Se olvidaba que estaba ahi acostatada en su camilla y lo peor desnuda y con el aire acondicionado muy muy frio...volvia como a los 40 minutos a seguir conmigo

I have done an internet research of this case and have come up empty. There is no other info on this case except for this particular lady who is trolling all over internet against Dr. roberto Guerrero. if its true than I can understand her reaction to him and his practice.
the woman also goes by the name manuela Diez and she is repeating this story (word by word) in many forums since april, 2012.
I know Roberto personally but have not been in touch with him for some years. I do remember a puerto rican lady sued him on some fake charges and had him arrested in Puerto rico. This cost him more than 100 thousand dollars in fighting the case. He won the case and was in process of counter suing the woman. That particular case has destroyed his life and his practice. I wonder if the same woman is going after his reputation now.
I hope I am wrong and I apologize if I am making the wrong assumptions.

While I don't know the specifics of this particular case and at this point all we have is her side of the story, the Internet is about the only recourse a patient has in The DR if he/she feels wronged. In the US you can sue for malpractice, etc...but in The DR it is a free for all and you basically have no way to get any justice or compensation.

My wife has been thinking for years now of getting some cosmetic surgery done in The DR and I've always dissuade her from it due to that fact that a Doctor can screw up big time and you as a patient have no recourse. I wonder if the price difference is that large between The US and The DR to warrant taking such risks.
