Clean and cheap hotel in Santiago.

I would like to know a place to stay in Santiago, clean and cheap, please. Any suggestions? (hotels or B&B)

Somebody recommended me El Dorado Inn, Any of you have been there?

Hotel Dorado (or Dorato), Salvador Cucurollo street. 400 pesos for room with fan. same standard as Colonial, but no wifi.

Hotel colonial of the non expensive hotels in Santiago colonial I found it to be the best
Lazaro and his Dad Victor are good people they run a decent place

I just called Colonial and made a reservation for Monday. They have 3 options, fan, AC, AC with breakfast. All rooms have hot water and TV. I wanted AC but not breakfast and was given two choices. RD$900 or RD$1025. The difference, I was told is that the RD$1025 rooms are a little larger and a little prettier.

The 2 options for rooms with AC and no breakfast must be new since I last stayed there. I don't recall being offered 2 options before.
