There are at least a half dozen good clubs in Santo Domingo for gay nightlife, though I don't have the addresses and phone numbers on me. The classiest club is Penthouse, best for dancing, but a bit more low-scale, is Disco Free. And in the Zona Colonial you can check out the bars Phoenix, Llego Bar and Le Pousse. There's also a lesbian bar called Ohare's Place in Gazcue.
