The two main coach buses routes to Haiti are done by three (that I know of): Metro, Caribe Tours, and Capital Coach.

The first two are Dominican owned companies while the third one is owned by Haitians and is based in Port-au-Prince.

The station for Caribe Tours is the closest to the Colonial Zone on 27 de Febrero esq. Leopoldo Navarro. Capital Coach Santo Domingo station is on 27 de Febrero esq Teatro Nacional. Metro's station is on Luperon near esq Independencia.

What has been your experience with any or all of them on trips to Haiti? Comfortable? Safety? Ice fridges on wheels? They give you food? Any breaks (other than stopping at the border to deal with the governments)? Any coach line recommend above the others? Cost of a one way trip?
