Coffee company funds better surveillance for Baní Dunes

The Ministry of Environment has recruited Induban, the leading Dominican coffee company, to help with the conservation of the Baní Dunes, a protected area in the southcentral Peravia province.

The Ministry of the Environment and Industrias Banilejas (Induban) signed an agreement to protect and improve the control and surveillance in the natural monument Dunas de las Calderas or Dunas de Baní.

Induban will contribute to the construction of four surveillance new surveillance centers and a front gate to the Dunes Visitor Center, new bathrooms, ticketing office and other improvements.
