More human remains have been found during an excavation in the property of the church built in colonial times Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Carmen.

How far back in time these go?

Who were they?

Direct ancestors of today’s Dominicans or foreigners that were for a short time in Santo Domingo when death knocked on their door before they could have any kids in the DR (probably Spanish part of Santo Domingo or during the 200 years or so when the whole island belong to Spain before the arrival of the French)?
