They should had focused more on the sailboat. It looks like the Cambiaso, also of the Dominican navy. Its named in honor of Juan Bautista Cambiaso, an Italian who founded the Dominican navy.

that is a cool find. I saw the Navy doing some exercises in Santo Domingo last Friday near the port

I was surfing Youtube recently and found this cool find. Dominican Navy ship was at the Port of Miami today.

That's an old USCG 180' buoy tender. I was stationed on one many years ago. That's how I first came to the DR.

Imagine being a crewmember on those boats without having a VISA. So near but yet so far.

Actually if you are a crewmember, you have VISA inside the govt system but you dont have it on hand anyway but thanks for the service, regards,
