Coral Canoa resort

Hi,

I'm looking to spend a week near Bavaro and I have the Coral Canoa Resort in mind. I've stayed at the Coral Hamaca in Boca Chica and would like to know if anyone has thoughts/comparisons available.

I traveled there with my family (over 17 of us) last year, and next to the Bavaro Barcelo resort in Punta Cana, I think this was a beautiful resort. Bavaro rules, but as far as beaches go, they have a pretty good stretch. Try to get up early and secure the beds near the left most part of the beach - it's cleaner and the water is so calm there. The staff are friendly and the nightly entertainment was pretty good for DR. Take the tour to Saona - you will love it. I'm going to the Casa del mar resort this time based on feedback I heard on the boards and because of the absolutely beautiful coral reefs they have for snorkelling. I think you will love the Coral Canoa - bring lots of film and take lots of pictures, the property is georgious!!
