I hope the title explains what I'm looking for.

I understand that there is a new generation of services that work on a variety of equipment and locations and I'm hoping someone here has a recommendation.

Also looking at hardware options whether a Roku, Chromecast (with Google TV??), Fire TV stick or perhaps a "box". I'm not sure the best and also simplest route. Cost of less importance than ease of use and variety of channels and streaming options.

Thanks!

The box will be your easiest option
Chromecast and a laptop/PC ( My preferred choice) - but if you are a channel surfer not for you .
Roku from what i've seen is like the box.
Firestick - if you know what you are doing is the box in itself .

send me a pm and i'll point you in a few directions

Thanks everyone, I think I have the hardware sorted. Firestick 4K

What remains to be found is a reseller offering both superior service and the priv. My understanding for about $5 a month there is a new offerings available IF you know who to contact.

If you know please post the contact info....or pm

Thanks again!

Again , if you know what you are doing , you don't need a subscription , but if you are a channel surfing type or for the ease of others , then a membership may be better . You can load kodi on the fire stick and access so much if you do it right .

Sent you a pm. I got just the guy for ya. 7000+ channels. I've gone through a lot of resellers and nobody can touch this guy's service.

7000 channels means 6500 of clutter or ones that never work.
No one surfs through 7000 channels, some from from Iran and Pakistan.
If you do you have lost sense of life.
I agree. He's got 18000+ movies. 1600+ Series. Network channels for every network in major cities. So CBS, NBC, ABC and all the other local stations based on whatever city you like. Hundreds of 24/7 channels. PPV's, more sports channels than I knew ever existed for every sport known to man. (I'm not a sports guy) All Dominican channels. And he says not a channel that doesn't work.
And truth be told, who needs 1300 PORN CHANNELS??? :ROFLMAO:

If I had this, I'd watch *Maybe* 6-7 channels. And I'd be really impressed by the clarity of every single channel

My lousy internet speed means all streaming programming is low quality to say the least. Constant freezing too.
If I had this service, the difference would be night and day.

But alas, now they're passing a bill making all streaming content and sending memes illegal so I can't have this wonderful service in my life.

My Players Klub has a plethora of channels (1,100 I think). Way too many and many are always showing the same thing as others. Duplicates and triplicates
Tons of porn I don't watch ( OK occasionally, when I want to feel small).
It's $9.50/month per one connection $17.20 for two TVs.
All works with an App on a Firestick 4K.
You have all the news and sports channels you can stomach, even hockey and that other boring sport of: back and forth then kick it in the stands sport = soccer.
It does have the Seinfeld channel and by now I have watched every episode. Also A&E Investigation for the crime lovers

i hope all of you who post the 1700 plus channels are in a northern country , why would you need so many channels , GET OUT AND ENJOY THE WEATHER. SMH
Even at night you need maybe 5 and a handful of movie channels.
OK kiddo, don't shoot the messenger.. lol

I barely watch TV, and when I do it's usually Netflix with a VPN. Network TV is a couple of car channels and COPS.

Thank everyone for the suggestions.

With JDJones hookup I do believe I have it all sorted, or will.

This was not for me, although I do believe that I'll get hooked up too!

I have some people in mind that either don't have TV or would really benefit from a huge price reduction and I wish to "give the gift of TV" to some. Times are tight and people on any kind of "disability' or government pension are hurting yet everyone deserves a decent life.

I really appreciate all the assistance.

Merry Christmas! (or whatever you celebrate) :D

Nope. Things you post on the internet are forever. Like unshooting a gun. You have to live with it for the rest of your life. :ROFLMAO:

Used to be...

Now they would last for as long as websites keep paying their bills each year.
Pages are not even cached any longer by web search engines...

Government’s intelligence outfits used to mine and create copies of all websites, deep branching them for posterity and data mining ⛏, much like they did all our fax traffic (reason why fax speeds were capped to allow caching into searchable databases).

Once online data flows became increasingly larger, the output capacity outstripped the government’s databanks.

Nowadays the trend is targeted mining of key 🔐 events and actors, of which China’s outstripped the world with their outlandish cloud capacity in raw databases.

It’s not what you know, but how much of it and when. China can go back on the timeline for years, unimpeded. Their impressive space program and its rocket 🚀 like rise into prominence are based on that capacity of timeline research.

White papers are now more strictly secured and leaner.

The US ran a corporate espionage program well into the late 90’s. Later replaced by the practice of planting operatives into software and hardware developing companies. Which is how Microsoft became a Swiss 🧀 cheese in security for exploits. Toolkits were planted at development levels and left at the root to fester until called upon.

Their attempts at open software have been moot, but doable as they exploited the hardware points to gain entry and control.

Nowadays their own root toolkits are being used to probe and violate their own data centers with prejudice.

So, type away and just be wary of one thing:
They know as much of you as you disclose on your own online. You can fool their system by thinking 💭 of always being an avatar online. Keep your character clean and pare down real intent.
