My daughter rode almost daily when we were staying there last December. She did both the "all-inclusive" included riding daily plus did the half day 'beach ride' which she really enjoyed. She was the only one to go that afternoon and visited a 'local's' home near the stable and had a wonderful waters-edge canter east of the Resort. If I recall correctly it was $40 for the afternoon. You can sign up for the next days rides at the 'towel/activities hut' on the beach. Numbers are limited, so much like many activities at "all-inclusives", getting there early in the day helps to reserve your spot.

You'll love the hotel and the people there. My wife and I went for our honeymoon about 2 years ago. The horses were very small, almost donkey like. But that was 2 years ago. Still had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back.

Re: costa caribe/ donkey size

I'm not sure, but I think donkeys might consider that a slur! :)
