Saw the trailer online yesterday looked interesting. Now everyone outside of the Dominican Republic can know about and see what people here have known for years.

Is this the same one that spent 2/3 of show interviewing Juan Marichal? I caught it about 3am on I don't know what channel, wasn't bad bu I got tired of hearing "in the Dominican" and not much detail

A lot about Buscones and a kid whacking a tire with a bat, but.......

I heard an interview with Jon Paley (producer) on CBC radio this afternoon about Pelotero. Interesting stuff discussed such as the amount of collusion and age fraud involved etc. Apparently 1 in every 4 minor league players is from the DR. Gist of the interview was to bring attention to the lack of social responsibility involved in signing young Dominican players. Hopefully the documentary does so as well. I will certainly look for it on itunes.
