Bigger ones are, like Jumbo and Sirena. Lots of people though...
We just came back from Jumbo an hour ago, parking lot full...
Not to worry, this does not make any sense to me either. Back home public holidays are celebrated on the actual dates they have been put to and not moved around...
Yes, I discovered this is the day the entire population of SC decided to go right after I got there.
I learned several years ago to keep a copy of the DR holiday schedule on my computer desktop, once it's posted here on DR1. Has come in handy many times to help keep track of them! Also, if using Google Calendar, you can add the DR Holiday calendar and see them that way too
