Some unfurnished apartments come with Linea Blanca which means usually the washing machine and sometimes the fridge and the cooker. You need a fridge which is an Inverter anyway, if not you will spend a fortune on electricity. A decent fridge-freezer will come in at about 50,000 and a decent cooker about 30,000, so for the two you're looking at about US$ 1,300. These are prices for new, if you are on a budget you can buy second-hand for much less.

I have rented 3 different houses here. The first two came with a stove only. The one I am now in came with everything, fully furnished. That includes a washing machine.
