Dolphins in Manati Park

Does anyone knows the story behind the dolphins in Manati Park? An article in a dominican newspaper reported some protests in front of the Park by an environmentalist group. They were protesting because Manati Park keep their animals (especially the dolphins) under inhumane conditions. If this is true, we need to start warning people not to go to this Park.
