Dominican Men Preferences According to DR1 Women

Africaida, this one is like your thread :knockedou
I've never been with a Dominicano and I don't think I ever will. Yes I saw gorgeous specimen in SD and Constanza, and my taste differ: they are tall with blue or hazel/ grey eyes. I am an observer, no more no less and since I am from a land of dark mysterious eyes, I am not attracted to that. So ladies, since gringobachata7 started a thread about Dominican Women Preferences, here is your turn:).

sarah1101, to be honest I think you are a great addition to this forum, your candidness is simply a breath of freshness.

I am the black sheep of my family, my old world Italian grandmother is still hoping i find a "nice Italian boy" and my mother finally realized that she will not have her pretty 'white' grand children from me, thankfully my sisters finally had daughters so her grand kids may actually look like her! LOL
Glad to be around, give me something more to do while day dreaming at my desk 9-5 ;)

my type is white, tall, bulky, bald and glasses. miesposo is all that but one thing - he ain't tall. but he scored 4 out of 5...

Funny how we define ourselves through adversity imposed by our loved ones. Aren't we all unique or "stray sheeps" to have this space open for us? Just joking, respect to the young woman you are and what you have accomplished and I really mean it!

I don't think I have a strong preference from one or the other as I have dated both Dominican and American guys. I think for me it has to do with the person not the race per say. That being said, I am most attracted to white guys, dark hair, green eyes, muscular but not too bulky, tall, nice ass and so on. :p

I agree that personality tops race, hands down. My only physical requirement is height- 5"10 and up and relatively fit -or forget it. This is apparently a form of discrimination called "Heightism". Wikipedia makes it sound fairly primitive in regards to dating and marriage. Ha.

As far as looks go Domincan men come in all shapes, sizes and shades of color. None of these things alone are what attracts me to a Dominican man. What attracts me is their sense of humor, how romantic they, the way they dance are and of course their talents in private places. ;)
All of the above is true for any nationality for me. I think the romance is what makes me more attracted to Dominican men. Plus the words sound sexier in Spanish. I am seeing a Dominican man now and I had forgotten how sweet they can be. It is refreshing for a change.

I only wear my glasses occasionally... but I can wear them all the time if you want. LOL J/K ... "The Admiral" is my sweetheart, hence I'm unavailable.

here's what's probably a stupid question for you ladies: I often hear comments reflecting that men from one culture or another have particular or better "private talents" than others. Is it conceivable that this could be a characteristic that spans a culture??? We all hear about French men, Italian men, Dominican men.... but really??? A whole nationality of men are better than others? I find it not quite believable, and think more than likely it's on a case by case basis. There MUST be good and bad "partners" in any given culture... right?????

Certainly I do not have experience with every nationality nor every dominican man. I do think Dominican men learn well early in life about the joys of "private talents." Hence with what experience I do have with Domincan men they are number 1 for me.
I wouldn't turn any nationality down.
I would copy what some of the men wrote in the Dominican woman thread but then...... I would be judged a slut. tsk tsk.tsk

It has been my experience that in certain cultures the men are far more....attentive, appreciative and caring about the woman's feelings rather than putting themselves first at all times. There is a difference between that attentiveness, the lack of inhibition when showing affection, those sweet words, the laughter and smiles of my friend and someone who rolls over, turns on the tv and says "get me a beer while you're up".

But then I generalize... ;)

certainly experience counts, along with early learning or indoctrination. even "natural" talents play a part. BUT in the end, what counts the most is ENTHUSIASM. If one doesn't like what they're doing, and/or enjoy what it brings their partner, they will not prove to be very "good", while true enthusiasm makes up for less than ideal capabilities in other areas.

Uhm.........

I like my men with Melanine (doesn't matter the amount, lol, a drop will do), other than that I am pretty open. I just don't like pretty boy* or men too much into their look (not a slob, clean cut though), that's why I find many dominican men a little too feminine too my taste. Confidence is sexy.

* Ugly men are better in bed :D

Many men are enthusiastic at what they do. Trust me, it is not unique to Dominican men. It is just that Dominican men are convinced they are the best, but so are Cuban, Blacks...ok, i better stop, lol

I'm from the U.S.; and for the record, my melanin comes mostly in the from of freckles to go with what's left of my red hair. LOL As for the other topics... well, it will remain a mystery.
