Some things do improve in the DR. My question is how is the Dominican Postal Service doing these days. Is it trustworthy. Is there a good possibility of mail getting to the US safely.

Outgoing is pretty good, it’s the incoming that is the problem.
I will be sending back my signed SSA-7162. SSA wants to know if I am still alive so I can keep receiving my pension. Before I use to do this electronically with the US Embassy but they no longer allow this. I'm going to send it certified mail just in case. Thanks

It would be nice if they had a ¨street¨address¨and not just a ¨P. O.Box¨ so you could use FedEx, etc.

Why don’t you use ID.me you don’t need any physical paper or mail with SSA or the IRS for a while now

In the last month I have received a commercial package from Belgium, a letter from my cousin in England, and a package from my son in Canada. Here there is a bottleneck in La Vega where the mail arrives every day from Santo Domingo but only comes to Jarabacoa on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

When I order on Fedex, Fedex sends it from Santiago on Carib Tours to Jarabacoa. DHL sends it by Domex.

Since when does FedEx deliver to P.O. Boxes?
Return address for SSA-7162 form is a P.O. Box.
What's with the bold letters...lol...I mailed to my daughters address in NY and she in turn went to the PO and put a stamp on the envelope...
