Are their regular flights from the DR to Puerto Rico? American Eagle used to fly from POP to SJU, but not for a long time.

JetBlue flies from STI and SDQ to SJU.

When I used to come down from Hartford, my flights would always have a transfer in SJU. It's kind of a mini hub for the caribbean. I also went through SJU when going to the Turks and Caicos Islands. Some of the smaller islands can't take the big planes.

Southwest is banging the PR market. I always liked AA, Tampa, Miami etc. AA has given up control of the Carribean. With fuel prices they need to be way up and away!!
Everyone bitched about AA. Pretty soon you'll be talking how great they were.
When you can fly now for $400 round trip, with the Dom. taxes. It's a bargain. We are going to get Porked.
