I'm working on a DR presentation for a church group and thought I'd mention some of the famous Major League Baseball players who come from the DR. But since I'm not into Baseball I need help! Can someone give me some of the current 'biggies' in Baseball from the DR? Thanks Allan

-Sammy Sosa - Chicago Cubs
-Pedro Martinez - Boston Red Sox
-Manny Ramirez - Boston Red Sox
-Alex Rodriguez - Texas Rangers (Born in New York of Dominican Parents)
-Moises Alou - Houston Astros
-Vladimir Guerrero - Montreal Expos
Also
-Albert Pujols (Probable rookie of the year) - St. Louis Cardinals
-Miguel Tejada - Oakland
-Raul Mondesi - Toronto Blue Jays
-Tony Fernandez - Toronto
-Placido Polando - Cardinals
-Aramis Ramirez - Pittsburg Pirates
-Jose Mesa - Philadelphia
-Bartolo Colon - Cleveland Indians
-Neifi Perez - Kansas City Royals

Note that basically every major leagu team has at least a couple of dominicans playing for them. This is a list of some of the better know players.
