Does anyone have the contact for the Spaniard who installs eavestrough.

I thought he used to have a shop on the side of the road on the way to Sosua, but I don't see him there any longer.

I'm going to install them all along my roof and send the rainwater to my cistern (with a screen and a switch) before summer, as with all the development I think water shortages will become more of an issue.

Thanks in advance

I think they gone. Noticed new signs on building last time I passed.
We had them install aluminum gutters, all custom done and fabricated out of their truck. They had to cut back our roof tiles to make it work. Expensive but we have been paid back in harvested rain water.

We also have plastic gutters, home installed. I've seen some gutters made by cutting 6" pipe in half.

Amazon: leaf catcher and first flush.

Note. We haven't have ANY city water for years. We do use our well and R.O. systems at times. Rain harvesting has been our main water source.

After the last "home improvement" we did, the city told us we needed to install a run gutter to redirect water runoff from the roof.

We spoke to the fellow inquired about above , got a price. laughed about the price, and then installed plastic rain gutters we purchased in Puerto Plata.

The city told you? Please give details. Did they have an engineer explain, design and oversee?

We had a new building with a roof line over a street. The city said install a rain gutter to direct the run off away from the street. That was all.

Going on 4 months waiting for Medio Ambiente in Santo Domingo to install a deep well pump. They are in no hurry for their approval process.

Funny. We have a massive new project next to us dumping huge amounts of rain water and drainage on to us.
