El Carite or Las Canas Hotel in Cabarete POP

I will be traveling to Puerto Plata and a friend of mind suggested me Hotel Carite or Las Canas.

Have any one been there? DR1, What do you know about this hotels? I try to look it up at the Dominican Hotel Association Web site and is not there. Please Please Help Me!
