The Global Foundation Democracy and Development and its Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF) are hosting a Dominican Night as part of the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital (DCEFF). DCEFF, now in its 28th edition, will be held 12-22 March 2020 in Washington, D.C. The event, titled “Protecting the Caribbean Ecosystem” consists on the screening of two Dominican environmental films followed by Q&A with filmmakers and special guests. Around 123 films are part of the DREFF festival.
Showing this year are two documentaries: “Chasing the Snot of the Whales of Samaná”, by Marvin del Cid, and “Plastic Island” (Isla de Plástico), by José María Cabral.
