The Premios Soberanos, the annual showbusiness awards ceremony, has traditionally been an opportunity for the Dominican fashion industry to show off the work of the best Dominican designers.
Diario Libre shares its list of the best galas. The selection included Yubelkis Peralta in an Art Deco-style dress designed by Yusef Sanchez. Celinee Santos in a masterpiece by Luis Dominguez. Nahiony Reyes wore a Suzette Taveras red gala. Evelyna Rodriguez and Charytin Goico wore long gowns by Giannina Azar. Amara La Negra wore a creation by Suzelle Taveras. Zoe Saldaña chose a design by Dominican designer Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim for Monse Maison. Jhoel Lopez wore a light blue men’s gala by Jose Jhan.
