Been out with Alberto Fishing Tours many times during the past 11 years here in Sosua. Always good - always fun

I am very curious how you make out
because Most of these Charters will take you for a boat Ride ..
If they have old trash Equipment thats the first Clue


I would never ever do a Charter trip in the DR , unless I know every single person on that Charter with me.

If you are randomly grouped with any strangers, you will be hit up for Tips and probably just get a boat Ride.
Totally Different from like MEXICO Or Costa Rica et al
... where you can target lets say Sailfish, and Mahi, and have the experience of a Lifetime.


First Question I would ask before giving them a Dime
WHAT specific Species are we targeting today , and show me pictures of the last couple of charter Catches.
if they got nothing, you have your answer .

If it were Punta Cana we’d go with Mike.

Alberto seems the only North (west) Coast recommendation. His Facebook site seems to check all the boxes.
