Flight with Thomas cook from Dominican Republic

Hello everybody,
Does anybody knows how or where to contact Thomas Cook in Dominican Republic for a one-way or return flight to UK? It's for a dominican national with a 6 months visa. Is there any Thomas Cook agency over there? I've never seen any.....maybe in Puerto Plata....I don't know.

It is possible for a UK resident to get a one way flight from the site office yes, but as far as i am aware from previous experience Dominican nationals are not permitted on any Charter flights to or from the DR.

All Domincans with appropriate visas have had to travel on scheduled airlines such as Air France in the past, British Airways do have a direct flight now but flying with all other scheduled airlines means changing planes in europe.

However if i am wrong or things have changed please let me know as would be very useful in the future.

my mother in law travelled with me last november from puj to london.
we purchased her flight ticket at the last minute for 600 usd.
and she had a 6 month visa only.
so yes it's possible

I just called TC at the number listed above and was told that i couldnt book a return flight from the DR to the UK. I could only book a single back to the UK and would then have to try and get on a standby to get back.

This seems different to people's experience on here...any advice??

Thanks for that Whirlybird...i wasnt getting much out of Thomas Cook and couldnt find a return for less than ?800 which is a bit steep.
I have just emailed Leslie...i'll let you know how it goes.
