fly fishing in the dominican republic

My partner and i are going to DR in November. He is a keen on flyfishing. Does anyone know good fishing rivers, sea trips or hiring boats. We will be staying in Juan Dolio.

I was on the north coast last winter and investigated the flyfishing possibilites. The tropical and semi-tropical game fish like snook and tarpon are found in the ocean around the DR but there are many motivated (hungry) local fishermen with nets. Fish stocks are kept low.
