I'll be in Santo Domingo this weekend (Jan 8 - Jan 11). I'm staying at the Sheraton SD Hotel. I understand that there is a very strict curfew in effect over the weekend and nothing much to do for tourists. What food delivery apps and services are available in the capital?
I downloaded Pedisdoya but it requires a Dominican cellphone number to order from the app :/
Thank you for your help.

And is there a good supermarket (Carrefour etc.) On the way from the airport where I can stop buy and stock up on snacks, alcohol?

You have until 12:00 PM to do as wish in the weekends, as far as food; use UBER Eats, UNO, PedidosYa, Glovo.

Install What'sAPP to your smartphone, all restaurants have a What's App line/number to which you will be able to communicate with directly without the need for a DR number, and most restaurant do deliver.

Priced at a premium at the Sheraton. But he can take a short walk during the day and find all kinds of stuff to snack on.

Food delivery runs until 11pm M-F here in Santiago. Not sure about this Sat y Sun. Eating that late is a great way to put on a few extra pounds for you skinny folks.

While delivery is allowed to occur until 11 pm. Not many food establishments around me are not delivering that late. Most are done by 8 or 9 pm some even earlier.

I know where you live but for those who don't you should post the name of town/city. This way people who are visiting will have more info.

I thought of that and was just being lazy and assuming that all of the regulars know where I live. For those that do not I am in Sosua.
