hello.from bayahibe is it possible to go straight ahead to Samana(Las Garelas)or i must come back to la romana or even worst to Santo Domingo and after to Samana?i am talking about public transportation of course

You can take the new hightway to Samana, you just have to take a bus from la Romana to Santo Domingo and tell the Cobrador, the guy that collect the money that you are going to Samana so they will drop you just in fronto of the Bus Stop, you have 2 options, Small Bus or Big Bus from Caribe Tours they have the bus stop one next to other.

Its locate in Las Americas so after the toll remind them you are going to Samana because they can take you to Santo Domingo if they forget about you.

In Samana they you need to find out how to get to Las Galeras.

I believe the bus station you are talking about is the one at the corner just before you turn onto the the highway to Samana. I would go on line and check Caribe's schedule to be sure you can make the connection to Samana. The station is located about 10 minutes after you pass the airport.

Yes, that one, If im not wrong you can make reservations in Caribe Tour, they only have like 2 or 3 services per day over the new highway.

You are talking about a very long day of bus rides to get to Las Galeras. If there is any way you can rent a car and drive yourself you would be better off. Yes it will be a lot more expensive but it might be worth the convenience.
