Are there any casinos in dominca republic?

I just returned from Puerta Plata Friday. There are 3 casinos in Puerta Plata. We went to Jack Tar Casino. This is an American Casino. It was small but nice and everyone was very friendly. You can play with American money. Quarter, nickel slots, black jack, roulette, craps, carribean poker.

There are several casinos in Santo Domingo. Biggest, and in my opinion, the best is the Juragua. There is also a casino in the Hamaca in Boca Chica. All games...but my experience has been that the play is similar to cruise ships...players are lousy! But...for an evening of entertainment it's OK. Certainly NOT Las Vegas quality...Good Luck!

All three tourist areas, the two mentioned and Punta Cana, have casinos. Some areas have more than others, but regardless, you can find one to visit.
