Getting to Cuba

Hi,

Any ideas about getting to Cuba from the Dominican Republic? I have found flights on Cubajet but the costs are more than it costs to get to the DR.

Not that I know of

I've searched pretty thoroughly and I'm sorry to say the high-cost Cubajet flights are the only way I've found to go directly to Cuba from the DR.

It is Cubana that flighs to Havana from Santo Domingo. Every thursday and sunday. round trip is around 400 USD. Their sales office is on the corner of Tiradents and 27 de febrero.

Try Santiago

Unless I'm mistaken Cubajet and Air Cubana are one and the same. I know I had to go through the Cubajet web site to book a flight on Air Cubana.

I think it now costs $450 from SD to Havana.

As I recall you can save more than 40% flying from SD to Santiago de Cuba insteead of Havana. The SD-Havana route flies Thurs and Sun, Santiago is Monday and Friday.
